About the Job
The JavaScript Developer is responsible for building easy-to-use apps based on mapped out company-wide processes to support automation as well as the efficiency of processes.
This means that you will be developing applications that will support our business, and will be used as soon as you release them, with a lot of feedback from our team members on how they can be improved. What Does the JavaScript Developer Do?
- Develops apps from scratch based on company processes
- Collaborates with experts to gain understanding of processes that should be mapped out and implemented in an app
- Optimizes created applications and develops new user features
- Implements basic security and data protection elements
- Integrates various databases
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and supporting frameworks (React is preferred)
- Previous working experience in working as a JavaScript front-end developer of minimum 1 year
- Solid knowledge of backend development – while you’ll need it for the initial development, you’ll be more focused on front-end JavaScript development
- Excellent English – while you don’t need a perfect accent, we do expect you to have fluent English listening skills and to be able to explain your thoughts in English as you will work in collaboration with the whole team
- Resourceful and enjoys finding solutions to various challenges independently – you are proficient in Google search and know which websites have the best resources you can use

Essence of Email has been a remote company from the start. Utilizing online apps for task management and time tracking, while supporting our employees with clear procedures on every working process, we have been running a successful remote team for over 7 years. Whether you’re working next to your purring cat or on an exotic beach, you have the flexibility to work wherever as long as it’s within your position’s mandatory working hours.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00—18:00 CET
