IT Support Engineer

In this position you will:
- Manage user onboarding, offboarding, account provisioning with Mac/Windows laptop and equipment coordination and MDM oversight and scripting
- Oversee general SaaS administration (JIRA, Confluence, Gsuite, among others)
- Manage devices with MDM systems and push software via DEP/VPP
- Manage employee account lifecycle and application access
- Maintain existing hardware inventory and new purchases
- Assist in network device management and deployment
- Provide Helpdesk functions to support employees, analyze and diagnose critical issues
- Build and maintain IT documentation, resources, and best practices
- Drive tools selection and enablement, strategically aligning selection with long-term needs and anticipated company growth
Requirements:
- 3+ years of combined experience IT Support Engineer/IT Help Desk/SaaS Administrator roles
- Helpdesk experience – you must be comfortable provisioning and troubleshooting Mac and Windows laptops
- Experience with remote support tools, RMM platforms, etc.
- Experience managing various endpoint protection AV products
- Experience configuring the following systems: Okta, G Suite, Slack, Zoom
- Familiar with task management and ticketing systems like Jira, Trello, etc
- Ability to track inventory, provision, and prep laptops and drive onboarding process efficiency
- Basic knowledge of networking, systems engineering, and AWS
- Understanding of security ramifications across distributed SaaS systems and basic information assurance techniques
- Experience with cloud vendors, especially AWS. This role may allow for some SRE/cloud automation work as well, although that will be secondary to the IT support and SaaS administration work
- Familiarity with Linux
