You’re able to see the impact on our customers immediately, as we’re working in small increments, releasing daily and iterating on what we’re learning, continually innovating on behalf of our customers.
At SOCi, we practice mob programming (think pair programming, but better) – 3-person teams work together on a Zoom call daily. Our core business hours are around 7 am through 3 pm (±2) Pacific Time. Our technology stack is running fully containerized on AWS/GCP, with primary backend in PHP/MySQL but microservices expanding to a wide array of additional languages and cloud-native technologies. We have a mature CI/CD process with daily/intra-day deployments and test automation.
You should be well-versed in full-stack web development, scalable SQL (100s of millions of rows), complex databases (hundreds of tables), and the basics of AWS and GCP cloud technologies.
Our hiring process is simple:
- 30-minute intro call with our recruiting team member over Zoom
- Complete online technical assessment (~30 minutes, self-guided)
- Four one-hour technical sessions on Zoom with our senior / lead engineers
