We're building the next-gen platform to manage the real estate industry's content and data. We already process over 1% of all US real estate transactions and are looking for top engineers to join our team. We're backed by the VCs who invested in DoorDash, Robinhood, and built companies like Shutterstock from the ground up.

As a senior frontend developer you'll be working with our engineering team and be responsible for shipping front-end oriented features that immediately benefit our customers. Senior engineers are responsible for substantial features, and should be able to take them from concept to shipped (alongside a designer and/or with direction and assistance from our product team). You should also be able to provide material feedback to junior engineers and help steward engineering culturing within the organization. You'll work in and help shape our tech-stack, which is built with Laravel, Postgres, Heroku, TailwindCSS, and utilizes the latest in front-end frameworks such as InertiaJS and Vue 3.

This position is salaried based on previous experience and we expect significant room for promotion as we scale our team and platform.

Responsibilities

  • Taking substantial features from concept to shipping
  • Taking wireframes/marker sketches/mock ups and turning those ideas into polished implementations
  • Increasing test coverage on frontend components
  • Having fun using the latest and greatest tools in the Laravel ecosystem :)
  • Helping hundreds of small businesses (our customers!) run smoothly

How We Operate

We love going to conferences, meetups, taking courses, and buying tutorials to level up our skills. We want to work with people who aren’t afraid to learn new things and ask for the resources they need to make it happen. We also support the open source community and want our team to engage on projects and contribute through open sourcing some of our own work.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who is well versed in the front end, and as a bonus, has experience working full stack especially with a backend framework like Laravel. Our team has a "builder first" mentality that gets carried throughout every part of the business. We certainly don't understand everything, and we're looking for people with the curiosity to dive deep and problem solve. Our ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:

  • Expertise in Javascript / VueJS / Vue3
  • Experienced with TailwindCSS
  • Experienced/familiar with Laravel/PHP
  • Comfortable in a small team/fast-moving environment
  • Bonus: InertiaJS familiarity

We do not expect you to be an expert on all of these, but you should have strong experience working with VueJS. This is a full-time position and is fully remote. The majority of our team is based in Boston and we are seeking candidates in both Boston and US timezones.

Benefits

The salary for this position will range from $90,000 - $130,000 USD (based on experience) and include equity compensation. This position is fully remote (although if you're in Boston you're welcome at our office!).
