Junior Front-end Developer

What will you be doing?

As a Frontend Software Developer you will work on our product: a software tool - of which we are very proud - that our customers use to make daily decisions based on social media data. Your role is crucial for our success, as you will make the work of our clients easier by developing a cutting edge frontend!

You will be joining one of our multidisciplinary Agile teams, cooperating with our backend software engineers, test engineers, product owners, UX/UI designers and other frontend software engineers. You will have a strong focus on the usability of our interface and work on new features and improve existing parts. With your knowledge and experience in the area of frontend development and architecture, you make the designs come to life for a full user experience.

We develop our product with great care for availability, scalability and performance from a long term vision, and we seek someone who shares these principles. We are looking for an engineer who knows how to write clean and testable code, based on the latest coding standards.

Furthermore, you will be sharing your knowledge of frontend development and architecture within the frontend team, to take the development to an even higher level!

What do you need for that?

First of all you have - like all our developers - passion for the job. You are a positive person with a critical eye and an analytical attitude. We are looking for a frontend developer who brings fresh ideas and who is not afraid to try new things and ask questions. Accordingly, you love to introduce new solutions. With great enthusiasm you tackle new problems which come along the way as we push our technology forward. In addition, you also:

• have a relevant Bachelor or Master degree;
• already have some experience in the form of an internship, student jobs and/or personal projects;
• have experience with ES6 and Component based frameworks like Vue.js;
• have experience with Webpack and Sass;
• have experience with modern approaches to software development including CD, Scrum and Git.
• have - maybe needless to say - extensive experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS;
• speak and write English fluently.

We think personal contact is very important. Therefore, you need to be able and willing to work in our office in Eindhoven, The Netherlands or Alicante, Spain.
