Welcome to Remote Skills LTD. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review these terms carefully before proceeding with any project or service engagement.
Company Platforms and Services
Remote Skills Ltd operates several software and service platforms, including but not limited to nextlovable.com, claudeui.com, productgaphunt.com, and getaskdesk.com. All services, payments, and contracts for these platforms are provided under Remote Skills Ltd and governed by the terms outlined in this document.
1. Scope of Services
Service Offerings: Remote Skills Ltd provides custom software development, AI solutions, web and mobile applications, data labeling, MVP development, automation services, and related digital solutions.
Project-Based Work: All services are delivered on a project basis with clearly defined scope, deliverables, timelines, and acceptance criteria as outlined in individual project agreements.
- Services are customized to client specifications and requirements
- Scope changes require written approval and may affect project timeline and cost
- We reserve the right to decline projects outside our expertise or capacity
- Additional services beyond the original scope will be quoted separately
2. Payment Terms
Milestone-Based Payments: All payments are structured around milestone-based deliverables. Each milestone represents a specific phase of work with clearly defined outcomes and deliverables.
Payment Schedule: Payment for each milestone is due within 7 days of milestone completion and invoice issuance, unless otherwise specified in the project agreement.
Payment Methods & Timing:
- Accepted Methods: Bank transfer, credit card, PayPal, or other agreed payment methods
- Currency: All payments in GBP (British Pounds) unless otherwise agreed
- Late Payments: Overdue payments may incur late fees and project suspension
- Upfront Payment: Some projects may require an initial payment before work commencement
- Final Payment: Final milestone payment due before project delivery and handover
3. Refund Policy
Non-Refundable Services: Work is non-refundable once delivered or started. This policy ensures the protection of our intellectual property and compensates for the time and resources invested in your project.
Limited Exception: Refunds apply only in cases of total non-delivery where no work has been commenced or delivered according to the agreed milestone specifications.
4. Chargeback Policy
Chargebacks Not Accepted: Chargebacks are not accepted as a refund mechanism. Any disputes regarding payment or services must be resolved directly with Remote Skills LTD through our official communication channels.
Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the matter directly may result in immediate termination of services and potential legal action to recover damages.
5. Deliverables and Milestones
Separate Milestones: Each invoice represents a separate, approved milestone with its own scope of work, deliverables, and payment terms.
- Milestones are pre-approved and documented before work commencement
- Each milestone has specific deliverables and acceptance criteria
- Payment for each milestone is independent of other project phases
- Milestone completion triggers invoice generation and payment due date
6. Intellectual Property and Ownership
Client Ownership: Upon full payment of all project fees, client obtains full ownership rights to the custom-developed deliverables, including source code, designs, and project-specific assets.
Pre-existing Materials: Remote Skills Ltd retains ownership of pre-existing intellectual property, tools, frameworks, and methodologies used in project delivery.
Ownership Details:
- Custom code, designs, and content created specifically for the client become client property upon full payment
- Third-party licenses, APIs, and services remain subject to their respective terms
- Remote Skills Ltd may retain rights to use general knowledge, techniques, and non-confidential concepts
- Client must provide proper attribution if displaying our work in portfolios or case studies
- Confidential client information will not be disclosed or used for other purposes
7. Liability Limitations
Limitation of Liability: Remote Skills Ltd's total liability for any project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question.
Excluded Damages: We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Liability Scope:
- Services provided "as-is" with reasonable efforts to meet specifications
- Client responsible for data backup and security of their systems
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.) excuse performance delays
- Client must test and approve deliverables before deployment to production systems
- Warranty limited to 30 days post-delivery for reported defects in delivered work
8. Service Agreement
By engaging Remote Skills LTD for any services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. Additional terms may apply as specified in individual project agreements or service contracts.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Jurisdiction: Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- All parties consent to the jurisdiction of English courts
- Disputes will be resolved through negotiation first, then legal proceedings if necessary
- Client waives any objection to venue in English courts
- These terms supersede any conflicting terms in purchase orders or other documents
