A growing tech company in the East Bay has an immediate opening for a part-time Corporate Paralegal! This Corporate Paralegal will work directly with the General Counsel to assist with subsidiary maintenance. With 50+ subsidiaries and 25+ countries, this corporate paralegal will manage updating C-Suite information, tracking information and reporting requirements, and preparing filings. Paralegals who possess the ability to work self-sufficiently in a very organized way will be a great fit for this team. If you’re looking to work about 15-25 hours per week and continue growing as a corporate paralegal, this is the position for you! The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of corporate paralegal experience, including subsidiary maintenance. This position is remote and open to considering candidates from across the United State.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Research and analysis of complex legal documents
  • Liaise with the C-Suite and international law firm partners on a regular basis
  • Database management of all relevant documents
  • Prepare filings
  • Manage checklists for subsidiary maintenance projects
  • Project as assigned

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of corporate paralegal experience, including managing subsidiary maintenance
  • Should be savvy with technology applications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of international subsidiaries
  • Subsidiaries maintenance experience
  • Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
  • Detailed, accurate, and an ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to take ownership of projects, writing, planning, and organizing
  • Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
