You recognize there’s a difference between being active personally on social media and running accounts for companies and brands. You’re absolutely convinced organic social is critical for brand building. You have a marketing mind, are a creative thinker and appreciate the aesthetics of a well thought out IG grid.

You’re also curious about health and wellness, and are excited to find ways for a health and wellness education company to stand out on social media and to build an engaged community. You want to work for a mission driven company and aren’t afraid to pivot and adapt quickly.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with brand/marketing manager/director to develop our social media strategy
  • Efficiently implement our social media strategy by producing and publishing high-quality social media content based on brand pillar content (podcasts, blogs, events) that aligns with our editorial calendars to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Define most important social media KPIs and regularly measure and report on the success of organic social media campaigns
  • Community management to drive engagement, brand presence, and deliver a high level of customer care
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Optimize social media work flows using marketing tools such as Later, Canva etc
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimizations
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Coordinate and support livestream events on social with brand thought leaders
  • Assist with crisis and negative news communications

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Experience using social media for building brand awareness and generating leads
  • Storytelling and creating cohesive social campaigns
  • Strong visual aesthetic
  • Community management experience
  • Trend awareness
  • Excellent knowledge of various social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Experience determining and measuring social KPIs
  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • Experience with social analytics and building reports
  • Excellent time management and able to work autonomously
  • Highly organized
  • Clear communicator, especially in a remote environment
  • Foundational knowledge of marketing, especially in the online/digital space
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High aptitude for learning

Nice to Have Skills

  • Graphic design experience
  • Experience with CRM software like InfusionSoft and Salesforce
  • Experience with Project Management tools like Asana and Slack
