Position Overview:

The Software Developer is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining the backend and/or UI of software applications. In addition, the Software Developer design solutions that reflect our clients brands as well as supports ongoing development of our products and services. This position provides timely, accurate and quality code design and construction for Kuder products.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for back-end and/or front-end development on multiple applications.
  • Maintain existing applications including the addition of new features. This includes existing and new client customizations on existing and new applications.
  • Collaborate with full development team to coordinate own work with others.
  • Work with Product and Development teams to determine technical and UI design for new features and projects.
  • Complete development work with high quality and in agreed upon timeframe.
  • Support product development efforts by maintaining back-end code and data.
  • Support product development efforts by creating user-friendly design elements and updating user content on existing applications.
  • Participate in the concept, development and design (technical and/or UI) of future and existing global platforms and applications.
  • As needed, participate in production support.
  • Maintain understanding of current web technologies through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development or related major, or equivalent job experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in back-end and/or front-end development.
  • Experience working with the following technologies
    • Asp.NET
    • C#
    • SQL
    • JavaScript libraries, such as jQuery, Bootstrap, React, Angularjs, Vue.js
    • MVC / MVP design patterns
    • CMS
    • HTML 5, CSS 3 and web design concepts
    • Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver.
  • Must understand Object Oriented design principals.
  • Must understand relational DB.
  • Must understand graphic optimization and browser limitations by browser type and version 12.
  • Must be able to, proficiently execute UI and UX design concepts.
  • Must understand site structure, navigation, UI principles, wireframes, and user flows.
  • Experience adhering to accessibility/compliance (508, WCAG) standards.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team, oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
