Grit Digital Health is looking for a full-stack Senior Developer to head up our engineering team.

Our team of 16 FTE’s is based in Denver, Colorado. Ideal candidates would live in or be willing to move to Denver, but full-time office attendance is not expected or required. 

Our codebase currently consists of React.js and PHP (Laravel) / PostgreSQL. Applications are deployed with through Heroku CLI and AWS/S3/EC2, and leverage continuous integration.  The stack will adapt to support the company’s evolving business needs, and the Senior Software Developer will support the vision of where we go next.  Grit operates three primary applications. One is a personalized well-being web app, one is a suicide-prevention platform (web app) designed for working aged men, and the other is a social skill-building mobile app built on the Apache Cordova framework. We are in the process of launching a 4th web application designed to connect people in crisis with critical support services and resources.

Our team is looking for an experienced, full-stack Senior Developer to help improve our products by leading the technical implementation of our roadmap. This includes building new, innovative features as well as refactoring and optimizing existing code for scalability, stability, and performance. We are looking for an individual who has experience with a growing engineering team and wants to be a part of a fast-growing company. This role involves working across disciplines, departments, and with third party partners to turn requirements into elegant software. As the Senior Developer, you will be responsible for the quality of technology behind Grit’s launched products. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation for object oriented programming, design patterns, and automation.
