About the role The Full Stack Developer role is responsible for our Portals (internal and external) and Mobile applications. Much of the time within this role will be spent undertaking problem resolution, development activity, and providing support. Accountable for the delivery of solutions in line with the requirements defined. Autonomy to make decisions to day to day issues within established systems provision. Flexible location with occasional travel to our Derby Facility.
	Key Responsibilities • Development, implementation, support, and maintenance of new and existing web and mobile applications. • To liaise with other business areas and representatives at key stages of the development lifecycle providing an insight into global I.T infrastructure, existing developments, systems limitations and business logic. • User support, product demos, and liaising with the business or BA team to deliver applications. • Proactive in documentation creation. • Building strong relationships within IT to ensure the success of projects and deliverables. • Liaising with the Infrastructure, Service Desk, QA, PMO, and Business Analysts on a regular basis. • Database development including tables, queries, stored procedures, functions, and data integration services to support new or enhanced functionality with existing and newly specified business systems. • Participation in improvement activities at department and company level to enhance business performance. Essential requirements • Significant experience of delivering software as a full stack developer using; C#, TypeScript, .NET Web API, ASP.NET MVC, AngularJS, Angular 2+, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. • Detailed knowledge of Source Control and Object Orientation • UI/UX. • Being productive both working alone and as a team. • Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio. • Experience of development using Microsoft SQL Server. • Experience of the full Development Life-cycle. Desirable requirements • ASP.NET Web Forms and ASP.NET Windows Forms • Experience of GitHub and JIRA • Preferably exposure to Unit Testing, Domain Driven Design and ORM/Persistence. About the role
