Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and test both front and back-end components using Java, React, Angular, or similar JS framework
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-up, backlog grooming, sprint planning and retrospective
  • Lead team of 6 offshore developers
  • Collaborate with offshore team lead to allocate and balance project work
  • Review all contributed software components for conformance to prescribed architecture
  • Review all contributed software components for compliance with team coding standards
  • Work with product owner to populate and prioritize features in the backlog
  • Work with customer facing CoE team and product owner to identify and capture customer requirements
  • Maintain metamodel for Collibra based enterprise data catalog

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of object-oriented programming experience
  • Experience with Java
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with OpenAPI
  • Experience with REST
  • Experience with Design Patterns
  • Experience with JSON, XML
  • Experience with HTML, CSS
  • Experience with Java Servlet or micro-service containers, for example Tomcat, Spring Boot, or Jersey
  • Experience with Azure or AWS
  • Experience with GitHub
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile ceremonies, Rally, Aha
  • Familiarity with algorithm design principles and algorithm complexity
  • Ability to effectively manage team of onshore and offshore resources
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to explain complex concepts to leadership and stakeholders
