Software Engineering Internship
Lockheed Martin
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is looking for an Energetic student pursuing an Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar degree for a 2021 Summer Internship.
The selected candidate will be learning and working with Software and System Engineers supporting the MASC-F program for the Missile Defense Agency.
Some of the duties and responsibilities include
but are not limited to:
- Working with experienced software and
hardware engineering professionals
- Collaborate to design, build, test, and
integrate software
- Learn about Agile Development implemented
using scrum
Basic Qualifications:
- Must Be Eligible to Obtain A Security Clearance at the Secret level
- Pursuing degree in software related field (CS, SW Engineering, Computer Engineering), or engineering degree with minor in software related field
- Some working knowledge of any
Programming language or tools such as
JAVA / C / C++
- Must be able to communicate a complex
problem
- Must be able to work in a telecommuting role for the summer (laptop would be provided, need internet connection, etc.)
- Highly Motivated , able to perform team tasks with low direct supervision while utilizing virtual collaboration tools to interact with team
Desired Skills:
- Able to work in a virtual team environment
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience with Git
- Java/C++/Go/NodeJs/ReactJS/Mongo
- Tools - Gitlab/Bitbucket/Docker or interest in learning
- Test Automation or interest
- DevOps Interest
- Cyber Interest
