Description

As a Software Development and Delivery Manager you will be responsible for successful development and delivery of commercial software services that automatically evaluate student writing. You will lead scrum teams that are focused primarily on machine learning products and associated platforms. In this role you will be responsible for successfully planning, directing, and coordinating project activities within quality and schedule objectives.

Development

  • Establish, document, and manage project scope

  • Lead the roadmap, release, and sprint planning efforts

  • Create and manage project schedules and timelines

  • Define and manage resource plans

  • Facilitate communication within the development team and with Product Management and Exec stakeholders.

Delivery

  • Establish schedules and project parameters

  • Develop procedures to accomplish project goals

  • Identify and manage project issues and risks

  • Coordinate work across multiple projects and functional departments

  • Track development

  • Facilitate team meetings

  • Act as focal point for project problem resolution and escalation

  • Coordinate efforts related to user acceptance testing (UAT) for business stakeholders as needed.

  • Coordinate work and requirements with all groups

The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $100k- $110k DOQ. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. Benefits available to eligible employees can be seen at: https://pearsonbenefitsus.com/

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5 or more years software development project experience

  • Strong Agile Scrum project management experience

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proven track record of successfully leading multiple projects teams through the full software development life cycle to deliver business goals and requirements

License / Certifications:

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification preferred
